truly madly guilty by Liane Moriarty

I had no idea what to expect from this novel or author, as it was my first read by Liane Moriarty. That being said, it did not disappoint! It was a great read and really taps into the 'what would you do in this situation?' mindset. It was very difficult, mentally, to read because so many things happen that challenge your beliefs. It's such a normal situation that goes so wrong with the most unlikely hero, but it wouldn't have been so compelling otherwise.

This is a story of three married couples, one grumpy neighbor, and the children between them. Each time you think you might know what's going on, you get a little more detail that shows you it's likely something else entirely. The story flashes between not only the six adults and one of the children, but also from present day to the time surrounding the barbecue. There are a lot of 'what if's', but when something of this magnitude happens, all you can do is get through it and continue living for the present, which is (I believe) one of the main points Liane Moriarty is trying to make.

Get it here: --> truly madly guilty
