SBPRBanner-PSU-RB

Palm South University: Season 3 by Kandi Steiner

Release Blitz: August 10th

Genre: New Adult

I am completely broken! Kandi has rocked my world yet again with the beautiful characters of PSU - well, most of them. A few pissed me off this season! I've never been so betrayed! 😢😢

Have you ever read a book series that reminds you of your favorite serial dramas on TV or Netflix? Well, pick up PSU and you'll get a taste of how that works!

I've been reading Kandi Steiner novels since my first love, A Love Letter to Whiskey, and I am so happy to have found her! She is an amazing author and isn't afraid to tear open your heart and piece it back together. I also love that she doesn't shy away from the big, messy topics and I feel that she approaches them slightly differently to other authors. This series is one that I will definitely be following until the end.

My favorite character is Bear because he's just such a wonderful guy. He's the friend that everyone wants because he'd go to the mats for you if you ever needed him to, but he's also someone you cn count on to hold you while you cry and keep your secrets. However, he also won't let himself be trampled, which is a great balance.

I was surprised throughout this series a few different times by various characters, but Grayson's secret KILLED me! </3 You definitely need to go start the series from Season 1! Like, right now...seriously, go!

About the Author:

Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal. An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs. When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer and sweet wine — not necessarily in that order. KandiSteiner

Publishing Date: August 24th, 2017

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Cover Designer: QuirkyBird Designs

Photographer: Lauren Watson-Perry

Synopsis: Even the gods cannot betray the will of the stars. It’s been a hundred years since she’s warmed my bed, a hundred years spent waiting for her. Now we’ll compete again in a game that matters little to me. But my prize is far greater than a token to be paid for a favor — I want her. And for the first time in a very long time, I have the chance to keep her. Because now the ground has shifted, tilted in my favor, and with her footing unsteady, she will fall. I will catch her. This time, I won’t let go.

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics. AuthorPics

Hidden Wings by Cameo Renae

What happens when Darkness and Light collide?

Seventeen is a life changing age for Emma Wise.

As her family's sole survivor in a car crash, she is left with a broken arm, and a few scrapes and bruises. But these are only outward marks; inside, her heart is broken and the pieces scattered.

Whisked away to Alaska, to an aunt she’s never met, Emma starts over. Secrets unveil themselves and now…she doesn't even know who or what she is.

A centuries old prophecy places Emma in the heart of danger. Creatures of horrifying and evil proportions are after her, and it will take Emma, her aunt, and six, gorgeously, captivating Guardians to keep her safe. But, if she can survive until her eighteenth birthday... things will change.
*****
Emma Wise wakes up in hospital after being in a major accident to life altering news. Then, meets Kade, who is so much more than he appears. Turns out, Emma has more family than she thought and is in for the shock of her life when she moves to Alaska to live with Aunt Alaine. But that means leaving behind the life she's known in Southern California, and, more importantly, her two best friends, Lia and Jeremy.

This story is pretty much everything I always wished would happen to me when I was younger (minus the terrible life events she has to go through to get to the end). As we know, heroines can't grow into strong characters without loss and adversity (plus, it just makes a good story). I had so many emotions throughout this story and truly recommend this series to everyone who loves fantasy!

Palm South University: Season 1 by Kandi Steiner

Let me first say - I am a binger. I binge everything from new TV shows to best-loved snacks to epic book series. This is one of the latter, and truly one of the best I've ever read. I think Kandi Steiner is truly one of the best authors I have ever read in fiction and romance.

Palm South University reads like a TV show script and is full of great drama and loads of sex!

I love all the characters, even if they do strange things sometimes. The intertwined nature of the campus makes for some seriously steamy episodes! I never really wanted to be in a sorority in university until now! I really wish I had a group of sisters like the KKB girls. They're the absolute best..even if they are keeping secrets.

Also, Bear is the best guy ever! I wish I had a friend like him. He's just amazing..

RELEASE BLITZ: Michael by Karla Sorensen

So...I don't think I'm going to be able to read Tristan's story because this was just SO MUCH EMOTION 😭😭😭

My emotions say NO MORE because I cannot handle the pain. I am beyond in love with Michael and was so happy with his story with Brooke. It was amazing, not that I expected any different having read the other Bachelor's of the Ridge stories. Karla is a brilliant author.

Brooke, a single mother since she found out she was 3 weeks pregnant with twins, finds herself in a bind when her best client has an E-mergency on Brooke's day off. Michael becomes a hero when he shows up to help out - little does she know, he's not all he appears. They are truly a perfect match and their relationship nearly killed me.

They almost let their personalities get the better of them..and you'll have to read more about it to see what happens! Let me tell you now, though, there is LOADS happening in this novel. I cried at least three times during the course of their story. They are beautiful characters and I love them.

Excerpt

“Michael,” I said dumbly, like a big dumb idiot. “Wh-what are you doing here?”
Michael Whitfield was the kind of handsome that made me twitchy. It was easier to ignore when I’d been a whale of a pregnant person and he oh-so-kindly informed me that I held no appeal whatsoever to him because I was on the verge of single motherhood. Okay, fine, that wasn’t exactly what he said, but he’d been pretty clear that our relationship was platonic.
He smiled down at me, all straight blinding teeth and dark, scruffy face, the white t-shirt he wore underneath a dark gray hoodie stretched across his leanly muscular chest in a way that made me feel a little sweaty. “I’m the cavalry.”
“You are not.”
His eyebrows lifted at my snappish response, but no, no, nope, all the no in all the world. “I was with Julia when she got your text and they already had plans.”
I shifted Jacob in my arms and he peered around me at the tall, handsome man currently annoying his mommy. Well, he wasn’t annoying me, exactly. But I was annoyed in general and now Michael got to be my scapegoat. Yay for him. “Why didn’t she tell me that?”
Piper waddled over and gripped her chubby hands into Michael’s dark jeans. I was just about to apologize when he leaned over and picked her up with the kind of ease that had me speechless.
Effing speechless.
Me.

Author Bio

Well, let’s see ... I’m a wife and a mother. I’m a writer who wants to make people smile when they read my words. I own a dog that sheds roughly eighteen pounds of hair every day. I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies. I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I'll love you forever.

RELEASE BLITZ - ღღ Revelry ღღ by Kandi ღღ Steiner

Title: Revelry
Author: Kandi Steiner
Release Date: April 20, 2017
Add to TBR
**Shouts from rooftops** KANDI STEINER HAS DONE IT AGAIN, Y'ALL! Can I just tell you first how much I seriously love her. One day, I will make it to her book signings. Really, I want to sit on a front porch of a veranda somewhere with her, drink whiskey, and talk about EVERYTHING. She evokes so many feelings with her writing. I can't handle her sometimes.... Anyway! Revelry.....man. áƒ¦áƒ¦áƒ¦ This book was...phenomenal. Wren sucked me in from the beginning and, as soon as Anderson was introduced, I was a goner! I loved the dynamic and the chemistry between the two. This made my top 5 reads of the year and possibly of my life.. I was lost reading Wren's whole background and how she'd found herself in the situation in which we met her. It was so familiar to my heart. I truly felt for her. Anderson absolutely broke my heart, too. What he'd gone through, and blamed himself for, was intense and so misdirected. He was such an interesting man and quite possibly my favorite flawed hero I've ever read. I could read about him over and over - he was that good. And the story would never be complete without the support of their family and friends; well, most of them anyway. Ron and Momma Von were my favorite secondary characters. Giving just the right amount of truth as needed.

From the bestselling author of Weightless and A Love Letter to Whiskey

Wren Ballard is trying to find herself.

She never expected to be divorced at twenty-seven, but now that the court date has passed, it’s official. The paperwork is final. Her feelings on it aren’t.

Spending the summer in a small mountain town outside Seattle is exactly what she needs. The peaceful scenery is a given, the cat with the croaky meow is a surprise, but the real kicker? A broody neighbor with nice arms, a strange reputation, and absolutely no interest in her.

Anderson Black is perfectly fine being lost.

He doesn’t care about the town’s new resident — he’s too busy fighting his own demons. But when he’s brought face to face with Wren, he can see her still-fresh wounds from a mile away. What he doesn’t see coming is his need to know who put them there — or his desperation to mend them.

Sometimes getting lost is the way to find yourself. Sometimes healing only adds a new scar. And sometimes the last place you expected to be is exactly where you find home.

I had just grabbed my oversized hat and slipped my sunglasses on when I spotted Anderson walking up the drive with a large trash bag slung over his shoulder. He wore a simple, black V-neck and distressed jeans, an outfit way too dark and hot for the heat. A light sheen of sweat gathered on his neck as he made his way toward my cabin, his eyes hidden behind all-black sunglasses.

"Change your mind?" I asked, not even fighting the grin on my face as I walked outside and leaned against the banister.

Anderson squinted up at me, his boots heavy as they hit each stair. "About?"

"Tubing?" I asked. That was why he was here, right?

"Oh." He shook his head as he hit the top stair, shrugging the bag off his shoulders to hold it by the neck in one fist. "No, I have somewhere to be..." His voice trailed off, and even through the tinted shades of his glasses I felt his eyes on my chest. I'd strapped on my favorite boho print bathing suit and paired it with a dainty gold chain that wrapped around my neck once before dipping between my chest and crossing over my ribs.

He sniffed, holding the bag out toward me. "I just came to drop these off. My clothes. Well, the ones that could probably use a little TLC."

My eyes lit up and I reached for the bag, but Anderson snatched it back, brows shooting up into his forehead.

"No frills, Wren."

I threw my hands up in surrender. "I promise."

He smirked, just slightly, and handed the bag over, tucking his hands in his front pockets.

"Are you sure you don't want to come?" I asked, peering into the bag at my project before setting it just inside the cabin and locking the door behind me.

"I can't," he said, lips pressed together. He was tense, the muscles on his forearms tight as he glanced around at pretty much everything but me.

I opened my mouth to ask why but was cut off by the sound of a truck flying into my drive, tires sliding against the gravel.

Tucker was in the driver's seat with Davie in the passenger. Sarah and Yvette sat in the back, laughing with their hands up as the truck skidded to a stop. They were both sprawled out on a pile of tubes, wearing bathing suit tops and tiny shorts.

All of their faces froze when they saw Anderson.

"Hey, you ready, Wren?" Tucker asked warily, his eyes moving from where Anderson stood in front of me, to me, and back again.

"Yeah, one sec!" I called back.

I turned to Anderson, but his eyes were hard on Tucker, jaw ticking under his skin. When he faced me once more, an anchor fell from my throat into the pit of my stomach, immobilizing me completely. Because even though I 'd tried to convince myself I was wrong, I recognized the look in his eyes.

Possession.

And when his nose flared and he took one big step toward me, our chests brushing, his hand reaching out to rest almost imperceptibly on my hip, the anchor in my stomach exploded into flames, burning a desire so fierce I inhaled a toxic breath and didn't let it go.

"Be careful, okay?" His eyes locked on mine just before he leaned in and swiftly kissed my cheek.

He turned on his heel and jogged down the stairs and past the truck. Sarah called his name, but he didn't acknowledge her, just kept his gaze forward until he'd disappeared from view.

And then everyone looked at me.
