Wasted Words by Staci Hart

Wasted Words Wasted Words by Staci Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tyler is amazing! 😍 I absolutely love hot men who are down-to-earth and so sweet! He really has everything going for him and absolutely no reason to make friends with someone so different to him as Cam, but for moving into the spare room of her apartment.

Cam is a sorter - meaning she categorizes people and assigns them to particular shelves, then loves to matchmake her friends and customers of Wasted Words - the bookshop bar where she works. She never saw Tyler coming, which is so cute!

They're such a great match, and the story they tell is so adorable! I love that they are so into each other and so oblivious to how the other feels. I was rooting for them from the beginning and hoping that Cam would get out of her own way, but I totally get that she was afraid of getting burned again.

Wasted Words is a must read for anyone who loves contemporary romance, whiskey, and bookshop bars.

Some universal truths refuse to be ignored.

Peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight don’t go for girls like Cam Emerson.

She knew from the second she met him that he didn’t belong on her bookshelf, the six-foot-six ex-tight end with a face so all-American, it could have sold apple pie. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf — the one with the flannel-clad, pasty-faced comic book nerds. Most of her boyfriends have existed between the pages of books, but rather than worrying over her own lacking love life, she puts all her energy into playing Cupid, using her job at the book bar, Wasted Words, as her stomping ground.

Tyler Knight always looks on the bright side. His career-ending injury turned into a job as a sports agent. A horrible breakup led him to Cam, his quirky, smart roommate who is far more beautiful than she realizes. She’s made it perfectly clear she’s not interested in him — not like that at least — but if she ever changes her mind, he won’t hesitate. Because he doesn’t see the lines she’s drawn between them, as much as she insists that they’re there. Deep down he knows that despite their differences, they’re a match well made.

*A standalone romantic comedy inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma*

Review

I adore ALL this authors books, but this one is my most FAV! 5 star read! - Angie's Dreamy Reads

Cam and Tyler's story is like looking in a mirror and seeing your own truths. Beautiful, romantic, and as always, hilarious. Staci Hart must keep writing forever, because I'm always awaiting her next read. 5 stars! - Brittainy C. Cherry

It's perfection. If Jane Austen were alive, she'd agree. - USA Today Bestselling Author Lex Martin

Hart's storytelling is like sitting across from your best friend and watching her share some experience she's had. You know what I mean - she's waving her hands, her eyes wide, her body language pulling you in and has you begging - BEGGING! - for the next word. - Adriana Locke

Staci Hart is the queen of romantic comedy. Wasted Words will make you laugh, swoon, and fall in love with its uncommon freshness in a genre suffering from "same old same". With a little Jane Austen flair and a lot of heart, this book is easily one of my top reads of 2016. - Author Kandi Steiner

Lovers of Staci Hart (and Jane Austen, for that matter) will have a major swoon-fest over Cam and Tyler in Wasted Words. Their personalities absolutely leap off the page with realism, thanks to Hart's adept hand at characterization and dialogue, and you'll find yourself unable to put this book down once you start it. - Author Karla Sorensen

Wasted Words is sensational. Together Cam and Tyler are stunning. So perfect. Just everything. I want to burn with them, burn in their fire, because burning together is pure bliss. - Bookalicious Babes
